WhiteOptics LLC, a leading provider of highly reflective, highly diffuse white reflector products for LED and fluorescent lighting, announced today the introduction of the new WhiteOpticsTM Advanced Coatings and Micro-Diffusion Films.
To better serve the needs of the fast moving and rapidly changing lighting industry, WhiteOptics Advanced Coatings high diffuse, 96% reflectance coating is now available on discrete plastic or metal parts and as aluminum or steel coated coil or sheets. These new products augment the WhiteOpticsTM White97 and White98 reflectance, high diffuse film and WhiteOpticsTM Metal currently offered today.
“With Advanced Coatings and White96Metal, we can now apply our high performance coating to virtually any lighting component of any substrate. Lighting OEMs can now have the best reflectors and highest diffuse light output for every design,” says Eric Teather, President and Founder of WhiteOptics. “Use of this new technology is ideal for coating unique 3D geometries or in fixtures that require substantial metal forming processes. Our low-cost production methods now make high diffuse reflectors affordable for a wide range of applications,” continued Mr. Teather.
In addition, WhiteOptics is now offering a selection of Micro-Diffusion Films, high transmittance diffuser films with beam control. The micro-structured lensed materials, working in conjunction with WhiteOptics reflectors, enable additional unique possibilities in advanced lighting design.
